The Volvo Penta 450 mm Interceptor Unit comes complete with stainless steel installation screws. The interceptors are plug and play and can be used with little or no corrosion as they are made from composite materials and therefore, less maintenance is required, giving you more time to enjoy the pleasures of boating.
If you do not replace an interceptor, be sure to re-calibrate the system (Instructions are in the manual).
The 450 mm (17.7”) Interceptors are to be installed at least 8” (203mm) from the centerline of the drive propeller.
Composite construction prevents corrosion.
Electronic actuator features no hydraulics.
