Choose the right propeller
Pitch is read as diameter x pitch (e.g. 14 x 17 = 14″ diameter, 17″ pitch). Lower pitch = quicker acceleration, higher RPM. Higher pitch = better top speed, lower RPM. For Duoprop drives, front and rear propellers are paired (codes like A1/A2, D4/D5) — replace both as a set unless your dealer confirms otherwise. For Folding propellers (sailboats), match by hub and blade count (2/3/4-blade). Final selection should always be confirmed with your engine and drive serial numbers.
